Frankie’s Superheroes Community Interest Company: That's me Frankie Gray MacRitchie, I was born on New Year’s Eve in Bristol Children’s Hospital in 2009. From the outside, I looked perfect, but on the inside, my heart was broken with Hypo plastic left heart syndrome (that's a tricky one to say), I was five days old when I had my very first open-heart surgery and against all the odds, I did ok, after a couple of months I was allowed to go home.

I was 18 months old and just about to have my second open heart surgery, I recovered well from this operation. Home, I go

Four and getting ready for big school.
I’ll be ok, I tell lots of jokes so I will make lots of friends. Lots of visits to and from the hospital.
Five and I'm not doing too good here,
Big open-heart surgery and I'm not doing too well in my recovery, my family nearly lost me! But hey, I bounced back as I'm a superhero just ask my Dadda. Home after months in the hospital and would you believe it if I said I'm back to school very soon, just want my Xbox, but I’ll be ok, I get to have fun with my friends
Six now,
I had a few little operations to help me along the way, Keyhole surgery, so no long stays in hospital, doing alright in school I have lots of friends only because I'm funny, they love my jokes.
Seven,
yeah, I'm going g be a You-tuber, yes, I am a funny one telling crazy jokes alongside a bit of dancing and singing, my nana said I'm a fantastic dancer ………Yeah right!
Eight and I'm doing ok,
still on all the medicines, but they keep me alive so that's ok. My dream of becoming a You-tuber is going well. Loving my Xbox and I love the girls from Little Mix (don’t tell anyone Haha).
Nine my broken heart doing just fine.
My You-tuber dream slacking a bit but I'm sure it be fine. Love my mates my friends and most of all my family. I was a very poorly child, but I fought everything life threw at me. I scared you all a few times but survived. I loved life to the full, My Xbox, sleepovers, pizzas, swimming, dancing, singing at the top of my voice as I love to be heard, most of all I loved making you all laugh with my silly jokes, I loved my dog, All my cousins. I was going be a big brother (yuck not a sister please), Loving a wonderful life against all the odds.

I, Frankie Gray MacRitchie on the 13th of April 2019 gained my superhero angel wings, not because of my heart, I didn't die because of my heart, no! I was left alone in a caravan with a dog, and it took away my life, my very special life. My Dadda would tell me I'm a superhero and he is right, forever more that's just what I shall be, a superhero!
