Frankie MacRitchie was born with a serious heart defect which meant many operations, long stays in hospital and lifelong medication.

His heart condition may have restricted his physical activities, but not his bravery, his sense of fun nor his imagination. One of his favourite things was dressing up, pretending to be one of his beloved superheroes! (No guessing why we chose our name!)

Frankie died when he was just nine years old. Tragically, it wasn’t his heart, but a senseless dog attack that took his life, but his family don’t want this amazing boy to be remembered for how he died, but rather for how he lived…as a superhero! Our logo was drawn by Frankie for his Nana!
